Yes, you are right, I confirm that with the update we released in March the Import/Export option was removed from the Flexible Shipping PRO plugin it was only available for previously. Just for the record, to not to mislead the other Flexible Shipping free users – it wasn’t available in the plugin’s free version this forum is dedicated to.
Nevertheless, you can rest assured that it wasn’t removed permanently. Its removal from Flexible Shipping PRO was a part of numerous changes you’ve probably noticed we started to implement not so long ago. According to the feedback we steadily receive from Flexible Shipping users, we realized that many of the PRO subscribers do not use this option at all and on the other hand a lot of Flexible Shipping free users notified us they would like to use it but they do not need the PRO features. That’s why we decided to split the Import/Export option into a separate plugin – Flexible Shipping Import / Export, which both – free and PRO users could use in their shops.
In order to not to take the feature which was there previously we’ve prepared a special mailing containing the detailed instructions for all current Flexible Shipping PRO subscribers on how to get their own copy of Flexible Shipping Import / Export plugin for free.
The aforementioned mailing was launched the same day the update was released. If you used the Import/Export functionality to move your setup between the sites as you mentioned in this review I believe you should own the Flexible Shipping PRO subscription since this functionality was available only in the PRO version. It means you also should receive the mailing and you should be instructed on getting the Flexible Shipping Import / Export plugin for free. Once you have it installed you will be able to use all these functionalites the same as before.
Did you receive that message and have you checked if it maybe fall into spam folder?
