• hello to all, I was blocked a hosting reporting this error below but the site has no problem

WordPress errore sul database Got a packet bigger than ‘max_allowed_packet’ bytes per la query UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = ‘a:4308:{s:32:\”ebb229de860e8ddd64422cbda500d6e0\”;a:3:{i:0;i:6467;i:1;i:6462;i:2;i:6458;}s:32:\”b6e6ddd8db90a03d62b9717df3f30b00\”;a:20:{i:0;i:7248;i:1;i:7244;i:2; […]

I then had it unlocked, verified everything was ok, installed sucuri and it did not reveal any problems.
What can I do in case I get blocked again? They only left me with this string saying I need to take care of figuring out the problem, but everything is working and no anomaly is reported anywhere. Thanks

It would be interesting if you could see the part of that that contained “option_key”, but it looks like that string is at least 50K long, so it’s probably not possible.

You’re using an old version of PHP (7.4). Check with your host to see if you can get a newer version like 7.4.25. There are a number of security enhancements.

Hi, I’m using 7.4 and as an option I can go back to 7.3 or 8: what should I do in your opinion? thanks

8 will probably cause problems, so stay at 7.4. The issue is something tried to save a very large row to the database, exceeding what your host has configured as the maximum size for sending or receiving from the DB.
