• I am trying to set up the thesis theme on a multisite environment. I continually get the following error even though I am certain to have changed the permissions of wp-content (recursively) to 777.

Any hints on where I might look further to solve this?

    Cheers.

Check your wp-content file and directory permissions.

I am trying to set up the thesis theme on a multisite environment.

I’m sorry but that’s not a theme we support here. Try at DIYthemes instead, they may have a document on setting that up.

What if I said that my default installed themes weren’t being updated as well. It behaves like a permissions problem, but as I said in the original post

Check your wp-content file and directory permissions.

, I have the entire html folder set to 777 (recursively). As far as I understand it, that means that any user can read/write to the folder.

Maybe there is something about setting up ftp on the server that I am missing. I wonder if ftp restricts access?

    Thanks,
