Thesis 2 and Google Comments for WordPress

Do you know how and if you can use Google+ Comments for WordPress plugin with Thesis 2?
I tried to install it and it puts a tiny set of icons in the top left of the screen.
Would welcome any suggestions on what I need to do as I’ve had to uninstall at present. Shame as it looks very cool and very useful.
