    Hi @gatdulazee,

You can edit the permalink however, You have to give the new URL slug for the duplicated pages to remove the -2 from the URL because its a WordPress functionality. In WordPress pages are not allowed to give the same URL when it is already there.

Please let us know if you still have questions,

    Hi @gatdulazee,

As previously stated, you can edit the permalink; however, you must provide a new URL slug for the duplicated pages in order to remove the -2 from the URL because this is a WordPress default functionality. Pages in WordPress are not allowed to have the same URL slug as another page, so after duplicating the page, WordPress will assign it a new slug with a numeric digit. You’d have to rename your slug for each page separately.

Please let us know if you still have questions.

as previously stated I can’t edit the permaslug! If you read my issue.

I changed the permaslug into something else but this is not the solution.

    Hi @gatdulazee,

We understand that you have been facing issue in editing the permalink slug. In WordPress pages are not allowed to give the same URL when they are already there so by default when a post or page is duplicated it will get a new slug in numbers. Also, You can edit the slug and give it a name as per your requirement. Please refer to these shared screenshot https://prnt.sc/lmcbWR3fFlV9
