• Hi,

I am using the latest Pro version. When I set the calendar as the homepage the message “There were no results found.” appears rather than the list of events. The list of events does appear fine at the actual calendar page URL.

Please let me know what I can do to resolve this.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Hi Chris, that’s odd. I don’t think there’s a general problem though based on other feedback I’ve received (though it’s a possibility for sure).

Can you share a URL where I can see this and have you tried the usual steps of switching to a default theme/switching off all other plugins except for The Events Calendar/PRO/Event Rocket (does it work as expected then)?

    Hi Barry,

I have switched to a default theme, disabled all plugins and disabled the AJAX functionality on The Events Calendar settings interface.

I had changed the singular/plural event slugs but I reset those to default.

The site is on a development server that I can’t publicly post a link to. Do you have a Twitter or other account that I could PM you a link on?

Thank you very much for your help,

    Chris

Ahh, hold on one minute, there might be no need – I think I see this after all. Bear with me and I’ll see what I can do.

One question though – is this with the list view as default events view? Can you try making month view the default (does it work then)?

    Hi Barry,

You hit the nail on the head – this is with the “List” view enabled as the default view and the events do appear if I switch the default view to “Month” in the Events Calendar settings.

With “List” view set as default the events do not initially appear on page load but will appear if I use the search bar to pick a date. Doing so adds a URL parameter like:

    “examplesite/?action=tribe_list&tribe_paged=1&tribe-bar-date=2014-05-05”

I am happy to help on this any way I can. The site I’m working needs the list view rather than month view. Please let me know if I can help.

    Thanks,

    Chris

I am having the same exact issue.

My events are entered and show up in the “Events Calendar” properly, however on my homepage (which is set to use the main events page as a static) it shows “There were no results found.”

It did show properly initially and the problem started today as well.

    Can you please help?

    I’ll certainly try ??

I’ve got it slated on the list of issues to address and will hit this one next-of-all.
