    I am using plugin version WordPress Version 4.8
    Plugin version is also current – Version 1.2.13
    Error message I am getting is “There was an error while accessing Nelio Content’s API. Please, try again later.”

    So far I’ve tried disabling and enabling plugin, disabling and deleting files via FTP and then reinstalling the plugin.

    I have disabled and purged caches. Same error.

    Also – is there a URL I can ping from my server? In case something on my server blocks the requests or something like that.

    One more thing – I have tried with option “API Proxy – My server doesn’t support SNI. Use Nelio’s secure proxy to access the API” in both ON and OFF states.

    When going to Social Profiles tab (admin.php?page=nelio-content-settings&tab=social-profiles) page briefly shows some boxes and then defaults back to error message.

    Would appreciate any help. Thank you!

    Hi @catbegemot, thanks for contacting us. With respect to the problem you described, you can ping https://api.neliocontent.com/time (GET request) from your server.

    It seems that your server is blocking requests to external URLs. Please confirm that and if that’s the issue, contact your hosting provider in order to allow you make requests to our endpoint.

    There was another customer facing the same problem you mentioned (API errors on both regular and non-SNI mode) and the cause was a firewall blocking everything on his server.
