    2 years ago I set up a website (using Ionos 1&1) and carefully tested and confirmed that each recipient on the Contact Form 7 form worked as expected. Nothing happened for 2 years during covid lockdowns except a few changes to the destination addresses. I now get the dreaded red-boxed “There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later.”

    I have exactly the same problem when I set up the same in a test site hosted by a different company (one.com) which suggests it is not the host company. Furthermore another site (again with Ionos 1&1) has a Contact Form 7 working perfectly and copying the problem form to that site also works properly.

    The form on the real site (redacted email addresses except for the Website Administrator):

    You have reCAPTCHA errors in the browser console. See reCAPTCHA (v3) and make sure your configuration is all correct.

    P.S. Whoops – too soon! I’ve just checked reCAPTCHA V3 and both site and secret keys are correct! Have I missed something else?
