  • Hi @zhankun!

This issue is related to the SSL certificate of your site; it has expired.

cURL error 60: SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired

Since the Google Merchant Center account requires that your site has a secure payment process, kindly update the SSL certificate and then check again if the issue persists.

NO, I installed the request to modify the certificate, the certificate is within the validity period, but this error still occurs

    Hi @judagutor

Can you help me with this problem? I’ve been waiting in front of the computer for your message.

    Hi @zhankun,

The error you’re seeig is typically caused by an outdated cURL/SSL version. Some users have resolved it using the WP Encryption plugin.

Can you give that a try? Thank you!

no, my ssl certificate expires on April 24, 2023.

    Hi @zhankun,

Indeed, you have an active SSL certificate. However, it looks like there’s an issue verifying that certificate. Could you just give WP Encryption plugin a try let’s see if it resolves the issue? I’m recommending it because I’ve seen it resolve an exact issue.

Also, could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply. Thank you!

    Hi @zhankun,

Thanks for giving that a try.

The error you’re seeing isn’t limited to the Google Listings & Ads extension. Most users experiencing it have gotten around it by modifying their php.ini file.(e.g here, here and here.

I’m going to recommend giving those suggestions a try or contacting your web host and sharing the error with them so they can look into your SSL certificate configuration.

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
