I just started trying out the SmartCrawl plugin on my site – trying to move away from Yoast SEO.

One of the first things I did was to start crawling the site. That process stopped after a few seconds with the following error message: “There was an error crawling, we weren’t able to get meaningful results”

But it doesn’t tell me what the error is. Is there a way for me to find out? If this plugin can work on my site – I’m considering the pro version. But I need to know if it’s even able to run on my site first.

Hi @tinofave,

This usually means that our servers were unable to reach your site for some reason, can you share the URL of the site so we can check what might be the problem here?

Hi team, same problem for me, just installed SmartCrawl, scan keeps saying: There was an error crawling https://liquidaudio.com.au/, we weren’t able to get meaningful results. Perhaps you have some thoughts on what’s preventing the scan?
