My form submissions have notes that say “There was an error adding the entry to iContact:” and the submissions are not showing up in iContact. When I test it myself by doing a test form submission it works! But when visitors to my site do it it’s not successfully sending it to iContact. Could it be because I am already logged in to the site and they are not? Is there some way I can tell the error entries to try again to send it to iContact?

Second question: When I submit a form it gets added to an iContact list, but it appears the list’s welcome email is not getting sent to me. Is this the intended behavior? Should I be using Gravity Form’s email confirmations instead of iContact’s welcome message?

I figured out my second question. Just have to select: “Automatically send a Welcome Message when: I add a contact (One-At-A-Time)” in the welcome message editor in iContact.

Note on my first question: even when I’m logged out of my site and submit the form it still works for me, so it doesn’t have anything to do with whether someone is logged in or not. I noticed in your code there should be a more specific error message after the “There was an error…” which looks like it comes returned from the iContact API. For me, I see no specific error message other than “There was an error…”
