Firstly, I run 100+ websites and they all use Contact Form 7 and it’s amazing!

However, on one website I keep getting the “THERE WAS AN ERROR TRYING TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER” error.

It was sending via PHP Mailer, but’s now sending via SMTP and it’s still doing the same.

I suspect it’s the hosting company blocking it. How can I check as they are denying any issues their end.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Richesio,
I too am currently having the same issue. I have troubleshot each and every plugin to try and resolve the issue but nothing yet.
I too also use a SMTP provider. Other e-mails within the website are being sent, just the Contact Form is the issue.

Is anyone else facing similar challenges?

    Daryl, are you on IONOS?

    No,

I’ve just managed to get mine active again…I deactivated (removed ReCaptcha Keys… it’s working.
Now Gonna add new recaptcha keys… KYP ??

Ok so simply delete OLD set of recaptcha keys and regenerate…Problem resolved ??

That worked for me, brilliant, thanks Daryl.

It was an old website and I didn’t know they previously had ReCaptcha keys there. I’ve deleted them and it’s worked. I don’t need to regenerate them as we stop spam in other ways.

Thanks again, have a great weekend.

Great! I’m happy! I now have another issue with Shortcode blocks not rendering… wish me luck!

I have the same problem and I am on Ionos. Why do you ask for it, @richesio?
