There was a problem while notifying Ask.com. View result

  • I just noticed the same situation this a.m. June 15, 2012. Manually updating the sitemap brought up an error from ask.com “Notice: Undefined index: HTTPS in . . . .” I deactivated the sitemap plugins, https plugins, and WP 3 Total Cache, reactivated all. ask.com does not update and the error message is the same as delower is receiving, with info. below:

    Notice: WP HTTP API Web Request failed: Could not open handle for fopen() to https://submissions.ask.com/ping?sitemap=. . .
