    After upgrading to WordPress 4.4 I see this error when trying to place an order: “There was a problem connecting to the payment gateway.”

    We’re using the Stripe add-on and all was well until I performed the updates. I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins and upgrading php to 5.4. Nothing works. I have never seen this error and not much seems to be out there on it. Any ideas?
