There was a critical error on your website issue

  • Hello,
    i am using your plugin its was working ok but last few days i am getting “There was a critical error on your website” broken message in search page. i amu using later version Version 4.18.0
    also i was disable all the other plugins no conflict found with other plugin but only with this plugin “Relevanssi – A Better Search”

    would you pls help me how can i fix this issue

    I’d need to know what the error message is. Did you get a more specific error? Perhaps in your email, or if not there, in your server error logs? Without the actual error message, there’s nothing I can do about this.

    well i was enable debug and found the issue
    “Deprecated: The function wp_make_content_images_responsive ist seit Version 5.5.0 veraltet! Verwende stattdessen wp_filter_content_tags()”

    I am using latest version of wordpress and php8

    That’s not the root of the problem, I think. For starters, Relevanssi doesn’t use that function anywhere in the whole plugin… Do you perhaps have the stack trace explaining how Relevanssi relates to this problem? Query Monitor might be able to provide you with one.

    But this looks like this might be related to something in your excerpts. Are you using custom excerpts in Relevanssi? If you are and disable them, does that help?
