Hi! I’m creating an online shop with this awesome plugin, and I have some problems to organizate well my products.
I sell leather stuff that I craft my self and I need some data when a costumer buy something. The more tricky case is with some patterns, for example:

I have at least 4 or 5 products that have 30 different patterns to choose, 7 sizes, and 15 colors. That’s too many variations! So I’m trying to figure out how make it better, so I can split these products for example same product just showing 5 patterns, and make 5 posts of the same…. but still too many variations.

There is another way to do this? I’m thinking something like a field where costumer enter a number. I have 7 sizes but ussualy I sell no more than four of these sizes, if the user could enter something I could reduce a lot I think.

Important, prices are always the same (mostly), there is not much difference more than the aesthetic, but I really need this data because I have to make the product exactly how the customer needs.

  • This is a common requirement. What you are looking for is an “add-on” plugin. There are several free ones you can try at:

Premium add-on plugins are available with more features.

Thanks @lorro that word “add-on” save my day, sorry sometimes for non english speakers could be tricky find what we are looking for on the search.
I mark as solved, didn’t solved yet but searching for “products add-on” give me several plugins to test, I think one of them will do the job.

    Thanks again!
