We have one category of products, the Cottage Colors of paint here on this page that any time any of them are added to the cart, we get the message when attempting to check out “There are no shipping options available. Please check your shipping address.” If we add a product to the cart that isn’t in that category, the error goes away. We have checked the weight and dimensions on the category products and they are all correct. Shipping zone setting for WooCommerce are correct and all other products work just fine.

We have tried to troubleshoot everything we can think of. Plugins are up to date. We tried adding it to another category. Didn’t fix it. We recreated the products. Didn’t fix it. We compared it exactly to a product that was working and it is all the same. What could be happening?

    Hi @sutailia

One possible cause could be the shipping class assigned to the products in the Cottage Colors of Paint category. Please check if a specific shipping class has been assigned to these products. If so, ensure that this shipping class is included in your shipping methods.

Also, please verify if there are any restrictions on shipping methods for this category. For example, if you’re using a table rate shipping plugin, ensure the Cottage Colors of Paint category is included in the shipping rates table.

If the issue persists, I recommend temporarily disabling all other plugins except WooCommerce to rule out any conflicts. If the problem is resolved, reactivate the plugins individually to identify the conflicting plugin. More info: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you need further assistance.

I rechecked the zones. Even added in each state in case there might be a glitch there somewhere. It uses the same shipping class as the other paints, which all don’t have any issue in the checkout. The shipping plugin addon that is used the USPS and everything is set as it should be in there. I’ve tried deactivating/reactivating plugins and nothing fixes it. I created a new product and it has the same issue, regardless of the address that is put in. Any suggestions?

On a follow up, any new product I try to add gives that message but older products do not. There was only one plugin added in that time frame and I have removed that one so I don’t know what would have changed or what would cause just some to not show correctly. I lined up a working product and a non working product and went field by field through the entire product and they match exactly. I don’t understand why this is happening.

    Hi @sutailia

This is definitely not usual, and I understand how frustrating it can be when something doesn’t work as expected.

Could you please clear all caches related to your website? This includes browser cache, plugin cache, and server cache.

Also, have you also tried disabling the USPS plugin and using a default shipping method like cash on delivery? Does this work, or does it still show that warning?

Additionally, please can you share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and send the link here. This will help us investigate further and provide you with a more accurate solution.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
