    Hi,

I tried all the feeds generated by the plugin but they can’t pass either the google publisher check or the w3 check. Here is the error I get on w3:

    Sorry
    This feed does not validate.
line 1, column 1: Blank line before XML declaration [help]

I got 3 blank lines in each feed generated by the plugin. How can I fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I checked functions.php and wp-config.php for blank lines outside the PHP tag and they were not present.

    Hi Filippo.festa,

The empty lines are on all of your pages:

    view-source:https://www.mtbworkshop.com/.

The empty lines are not generated by the GN Publisher plugin, it’s happening somewhere else.

If the issue isn’t with functions.php nor wp-config, it might be something in the theme or another plugin.

I know it’s rather tedious, but you might switch your theme temporarily and deactivate plugins temporarily one at a time and test each change to locate where the problem lies. Just be careful to make sure you are getting a fresh page load each time you test, so you aren’t looking at a cached page when testing,

I solved the issue of the empty lines. It seems like a backup plugin altered the formatting of the files when I restored the backup. Overwriting the WordPress and theme files fixed it.

Now the feed passed the validation but I’m stuck with “no articles in this section”. I heard this is a common issue. Any advice on what I should try first?

Thank you for the quick reply!

If you haven’t already, trying hitting the ‘refresh’ button in the Publisher Center. It might just need to reload the articles now that the feed validates,
