Themolio on iPad?

Very nice theme! Been looking for a theme that uses jquery masonry for a while, and this is the best I’ve see so far.
Two questions on Themolio on the iPad – First, is there a way to have the theme not see the iPad as a mobile device? I’m sure it’s in the functions file, but I have no clue what to tweak. The full width display is fine on the iPad screen, but it wants to display as one column.
Secondly, when the mobile function is turned off, the header and menu backgrounds only go about 75% the width of the iPad screen. It does it on my tweaked installation, as well as a fresh install on another site.
Any help is appreciated!
