• Hello,

First – thank you for making the WooCommerce Filter plugin to work with Divi. Hopefully one day Divi will have a native product filter module of its own to reduce the chance of trouble ??

In the meantime, I have a problem with the Themify plugin conflicting with another plugin, stopping it working correctly.

    BACKGROUND
    I am using:
    WordPress: 5.4.2
    Latest Divi: Version 4.4.8
    PHP: 7.3
    Memory Limit: 512M

    ISSUE
The Themify plugin apparently has a bug which is stopping Divi Overlays working correctly.

I have a category layout page built using the Divi shop module in Divi theme builder.
The kids category has no products to display:
    https://www.elitedtgprinting.com.au/product-category/kids-products/

I am also using Divi Overlays to display my menu.
When an empty category page is viewed, the Themify plugin is apparently stopping the overlay displaying correctly.

I initially raised this issue with DiviLife (the plugin developer of Divi Overlays). They came back to me and said the following:

    VIDEO: https://youtu.be/53fFHK7cxQs

    –––––––––
When the “Sort by” field is missing, they didn’t consider to add a condition in case this field is not available, like when it has no products so that’s the reason of the JavaScript error and this error breaks other plugins functionality”

Disabling the plugin will show you that the overlay works. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

The overlays plugin is not connected to or reliant on the Themify plugin, the Themify plugin has a bug in it (where one condition is not coded properly) and its breaking the page’s functionality.

And as the overlays is added to the page content, this process is not fully executing due to the bug in Themify’s plugin.

And overlays is not the only plugin, there are errors on your site that are caused by this plugin’s bug, we can try and apply a patch up to the page however this may not be ideal for your website moving forward. That would continue to cause errors and may even crash your site one day.

Please keep in mind this has nothing to do with the overlays plugin, we have caught the core of the issue and we are suggesting a fix which most developers do not do, to save time they usually apply a workaround and this hinders the website’s functionality in the long run.

Would you be able to look at this issue and fix the bug please? I am not a developer so I am only relaying information given to me but would really appreciate your plugin working correctly please ??

    Many thanks & kind regards,
    Neil.

    Hi,

On the kids category, you don’t have any published products: https://share.getcloudapp.com/7KumbXD2. In order for product filter to work, it needs to have archive products on the same page, then it will swap the products with product filter. Could you try to publish a product in kids category?
