Themify adds unwanted HTML code

Not sure whether anyone can help me with this, but I have a problem with some HTML code that the Themify Split theme automatically ads to my HTML code. The code (below) harms some communication with the REST API as some unwanted <div> tags appear. Would anyone know what can be done to get rid of this piece of code?
