• I had a couple of themes (1 default) – roughly every 24 hours they would swap from my design to default.

    So I removed the default.
Now I had just one theme but after roughly 24 hours I get blank screens – empty code. The theme is loaded but not working.

I have now duplicated the theme, so I have identical themes named theme1 and theme2.

I’m hoping even if they do swap it won’t make any difference …
Hardly an ideal situation … anyone got any ideas why this would happen.

I’ll post again in a day or two and let you know if my two identical themes trick as worked.

    Any help / ideas appreciated.

    Geoff

  • Sometimes plugin conflicts will cause a blog to get “confused” as to what theme to display – or a corrupt theme can cause that, so it reverts to the Default theme.

Try copying your theme to a theme folder called Default, and change your stylesheet to say default too, so WP thinks it is the default theme. If the problem is not with your theme, then when it reverts to the [new] Default, it will still be your Theme. If you still get blank pages, then there is something corrupt in your Theme.
