• Hello,
I recently signed up for a wordpress account and interestingly enough, NONE of my themes work or load. I read on some other forum that this could have something to do with my htaccess file. Any idea what changes need to be made to the htaccess file to get the themes to work? If so, please do let me know. Thank you in advance.

    Regards,

    Pranav

I am not convinced about it being a soholaunch issue. Even in wordpress, a simple update to my css of the selected theme, is not reflected in “previews” of my posts. It is almost like it doesn’t read any of the CSS or anything else in the themes. This is really frustrating since this has been the case ever since I signed up for a wordpress account. Any guidance would be highly appreciated.

    1. You didn’t sign up for a WordPress account. You simply installed free software.

    2. It could well be a hosting cache issue. I’ve come across hosts who cache CSS files for a good 20-30 mins – making live CSS editing impossible. The only solution in these cases is to download the css files, make your changes offline, delete the copy on the live server and then upload the amended css file.

    Contact your hosts…

Hi esmi…that is definitely an interesting idea. I will go ahead and give this a shot. I am OK with downloading the css files offlines. Thank you so much for your guidance.
