Themes for new WPEC

  • We’ve just updated WPEC and Gold Cart for a client and the theme (Bravo by Splashing Pixels) is now not functioning properly.

    Splashing Pixels are no longer supporting WPEC and we can find very few themes associated with WPEC as a product – seems to have been overtaken by Woo.

    Can anyone point us in the right direction for modern, up to date themes compatible with WPEC?

  • So the good thing is that WPEC is very theme agnostic. I have been moving sites that had used Splashing Pixels themes to Make (Free from Theme Foundry) and Sparkling (Free from Colorlib).

    I can point you to examples of both if you need to play around.

    We use the premium theme Blanco from 8Theme. It’s pretty good and works with both WPEC and Woo so if you ever switch that makes life easier.

    The only thing that bugs me with Blanco is that on a PC/Laptop if you resize the browser window you need to click the reload button for the page display to re-size.
