• Recently I’ve started having problems with themes on my wordpress. They either take long to update or don’t update at all. I’m using the Premium News/ Woo Themes currently. I’ve tried other different themes but the same problem happens.

It started with WP 2.5, I upgraded to WP 2.6, still had the same problem. Re-installed WP and still getting this problem.

    I need help.

  • Do you mean that when you make a post, you can’t see the update on your site? Do you have WP Cache plugin set up?

I’m a wordpress newbie working with wordpress locally having the same problem. I haven’t tried the wp-cache plugin yet but it has worked to refresh the page with fn+f5 in firefox and shift+refresh in ie (I’m on a pc). Doing that after each update is showing the changes in the theme consistently. I was tearing my hair out before I found that suggestion.

No I mean when I make changes to the theme. Like changing color or adding widgets. It doesn’t update, or if it does update. Its just on a few pages.

    Here is my blog: blog.leximo.org

Take a look and see whats wrong with it.

And I have the WP Super Cache plugin.

Yes I think it could be because of the cache. Basically your cache is locally showing you what’s in your cache so that it’s faster for you to browse your site, but that’s not what the public sees.

I disabled the cache and it worked.

    Thanks guys!
