Themes and plugins don’t appear in site admin

I have installed my blog https://www.probaseballinstruction.com/blog however when I transfer themes and plugins to my server, they do not appear in my WP admin area. I have unzipped/extracted files and they appear in my blog/wordpress/wp-content/plugins (or themes) but they aren’t options for me in WP. Can anyone help?? Thanks!!
