• Hi there,

I have installed WordPress 4.7 on my site, and its working well. My problem is fairly simple. I will mainly have static, permanent pages on my site – they will form the basis of the site.

All the themes I’ve tried look great, until I realise they are posts based.

For example, they show slick looking photo-based links to stories, but they can only be set to use posts, not pages.

I definitely don’t want to use posts, because they’re date-based, which will, in time, make my site look old.

Help appreciated – either by correcting my misunderstanding, or pointing me at a suitable theme.

    Thanks,

    – Rob

Have you looked at twentyseventeen? It’s definitely page oriented but can handle posts well, too. The twentytwelve theme is also a good page-oriented one. Look for “corporate” themes.
