    Dear developer,

Your Plugin is exactly what i have been looking for … for a long time ??
    I simply Love it.

The only thing i need to figure out is how to get the my profile page on the front end — so no access to backend for subscribers or customers.

I have read your documentation, and i checked at least 10 pages on this forum, but your documentation regarding Themed Profiles refers to a 404 page. And there are topics about this in this forum.

Unfortunately i have no Php skills, so i need simple solutions. IF there would be Shortcodes to View specific Client data like:

    My First Name
    My Surname
    My Username
    My Email
    Reset My Password

I could make my own Profile page with VC and the shortcodes… but don’t know if that is an option.

Could you kindly check this and advise.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

All you need to do is enable the Themed Profiles module.

    Dear Jeff,

Do believe my I enabled them and tried all possibilities as well. I understand that you offer a free plugin and support is all extra, so i try not to ask without reading and trying.

But like i said, the Themed Profiles are not working.

I enabled, the site can’t find the profile page keeps loading long and stops in the end.

This is the only part of the plugin that seems not to work.

Does the Profile page exist in Admin -> Pages?

    Thread Starter Tomasz

    (@olibumboli)

Yes off course. I run my site in Dutch, but since the plugin is already translated it made the page [your profile] : “je profiel” but the short code inside is [theme-my-login]
Perhaps it should be something else…? But like i said i couldn’t read that in your docs.

Is this the Your Profile page the plugin created?

    (@olibumboli)

    Yes indeed.

Can you verify this by checking the DB for a key of _tml_action with a value of “profile” in the wp_options table?

    Thread Starter Tomasz

    (@olibumboli)

Yes, i checked the database and i found it there together with

    _tml_action login
    _tml_action logout
    _tml_action register
    _tml_action lostpassword
    _tml_action resetpass
    _tml_action profile

I’m sorry, but did you notice if the post_id field for the occurrence of “profile” matched that of the Profile page?

    Thread Starter Tomasz

    (@olibumboli)

Could you please be more specific?

Please let me know exactly what and where i need to check?

and i will come back with an answer asap.

The wp_postmeta table also contains the post_id that the meta belongs to. We need to be sure that the meta field _tml_action with a value of “profile” belongs to the Profile page.

I checked the database and the post id is 10692 and in wordpress the page has an id of 10692 as well. (i could only inspect the page backend, since the page front end is not loading)

Try visiting your permalinks page in order to refresh them? I’m running out of ideas here…

    Thread Starter Tomasz

    (@olibumboli)

    Dear Jeff,

Sorry for the late reply, I had the flu and was out for a while.

Anyways i tried all the possibilities you suggested, refreshed permalinks and I have the idea i might be missing something simple here, perhaps some wrong setting which i am know too blind to see.

Would it be an idea I give you login credentials to the site so you could check for yourself?

It is a demo site so no risk here, but i need to know if the plugin works…

Sure. Send credentials to jeff [at] jfarthing [dot] com.
