Disable comments in pages

Thanks for the link, I hvae eliminated them using quick edit in dashboard-posts.

What about the widgets in POSTS in the right of the page: search button, archives and meta… how can I eliminate those?

You can install the Jetpack plugin. It has an widget visibility module where you can choose which widget to display on which type of page, such as on page or post, or for a specific user. It’s a useful module. ??

I copied sidebar.php from content/themes/zerif-lite directory to child theme directory and deleted all three widgetsin the php.
