  • There seems to be no option for it in the theme currently. The easiest way to fake it though, is by setting a full width image as the first thing on the page.

    thanks for this reply

but I use also the header image, so I will have both images, am I correct?

I have a similar question. I wanted to use the random image option that is featured on the theme documentation, but that option seems to be missing. How do we get the random header photo option back?

Perhaps I don’t understand, but the “featured image” check box on images in posts allows you to set the featured image which replaces the theme image for that post with the featured image. I love this feature. See an example at: https://myphilippinelife.com/philippine-banking/

It seems the featured image option is only available when you first place the images in the post.

the “featured image” check box on images in posts allows you to set the featured image which replaces the theme image for that post with the featured image.

That depends upon the theme you are using.

I thought I posted on the forum for the Yoko theme. Am I wrong?

You were not the original poster, so nothing is assumed. You would be better off starting a new topic. Or trying to contact the theme developer directly as I’ve never seen him/her on the support forum.

I am not a code expert or anything but I have changed my header on each page by not using the default header image. I chose an image to be my header image and also added various other pics I want on different pages. Then on each page when it has a link at the bottom called “Featured Image” I chose a separate image then. I had to save it first then load/update it page by page. I picked the image from my gallery of images. If you try to add the image on the featured image w/out saving it as a header image, you can’t edit it. If you save multiple images on the header page, you can edit them there. Hope this makes sense. Get in there and play with it, and it will become clear

Its maybe a little late but here are the steps:
    1. Create a new site or edit your existing site
    2. Scroll down and on the right side is a box called Featured Image.
    3. Click on “Set featured image” and upload a image you like or choose one you already uploaded to your Media Library.
    4. Choose an image and click on show
    5. Click on “Use as featured image” and save the page
    6. That’s it. View the page and enjoy your different page header image!
