Theme working bad only in IE8

  • Hi everybody,

    my site (www.ricettedellanonna.net) loads quite fast and well on the major part of browser (chrome, firefox, safari, IE7) , but not on IE8 where sometimes even freezes for seconds while loading.

    If access the administration section I have no problem and the site works well, so the prob necessary is in the theme.

    There is someone, can help me to understand what script causing IE8 problems?

  • It might be all the .js files you use.
    Sorry I can’t help you with IE8 (not installed in my computer) but analyzing it in Firefox with Firebug reveals it takes more than 9 seconds to load.

    It not so slow. It takes “only” 5,41 to load in firefox. If you test with gtmetrix it scores 81%. anyway I think I fix the error in IE8, probably caused by the fancybox script.
