[Theme: Wordsmith Anvil] The New Version is Better

    Wordsmith-Anvil was updated to Version 2.1 and approved by the WordPress Repository on 10-06-2011. However, for some yet unknown reason the version available for download is 1.6.8; which, was the older version from four months ago. The new version is much better, has several more options, some bug fixes and is the version you should be using. Most likely the erroneous version on the WordPress Repository will be corrected soon. However, in the interim, you can download the current version from the Wordsmith-Anvil Theme Site Downloads Page.

    Hopefully, this information helps those of you wanting to download this theme.

    Update … the newest version is available on the www.remarpro.com site. The developer preference is that you download the theme from the www.remarpro.com site. thx

    Hey Code28, rather than SPAM this forum and the www.remarpro.com site you should develop a theme for the repository.

    HI ! I am using Wordsmith Anvil 2.2.1. My website is https://www.enggarticle.com . I have recently started making this web. The problem that I am facing is that when I try to login and I enter my username and password, a blank page appears. I have changed the theme and then it worked ok. Is there any problem of the above said theme in relation to wordpress 3.3.1? Note that I am NOT facing any such problem when I access my website on local host. Please help.

    Based on the information provided I am going to speculate you may have some plugins installed on your server that are not installed on your local machine. Even if not, my first guess is that most likely you are experiencing a jquery conflict, or not all of the files were uploaded to your theme folder. I have made some upgrades to the theme since Version 2.2.1. However, I have been too busy to run it through the process to update the theme on the WordPress Repository. If the problem is related to a jquery conflict, then there are three javascript files that need to be edited. If you are comfortable with doing a little copy and paste you should be able to edit these without too much difficulty. Two of the files are native to the theme. The other file is a third-party javascript file. I will start with the latter. Look in the theme’s js directory (folder).

    Locate the file: jquery.hoverflow.min.js and replace the code by doing a copy + paste of the code found here.

    On line 8 of wssingle.js and line 40 of wsmain.js you need to change one line, as shown here.
