• Hello everyone,

I seem to have a problem with Widely Theme.
Recently I switched from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com and noticed, that the latter does not restrict max width of the image so that it doesn’t break the layout. Take a look at the following example:

    https://www.kulturawplot.pl/2013/06/01/najlepsze-zdjecia-2-maj-2013-na-facebooku-twitterze-i-google/

As you can see, some images are wider than the max width of the post (800px). I tried everything I know to resize them, but nothing seems to work. Can’t change the size by overriding html code of the post (wifht=x and height=x doesn’t work), setting max-width in wordpress settings doesn’t work either.

Moreover, even though I center images in the editor, they appear to be aligned left, no matter what I try.

What can I do to fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance,
    kwp

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.
    Try https://www.themeskingdom.com/

Oh, sorry, my mistake. Will try that.
However I have a follow-up question. Is it possible that width=x and height=x for <img> wouldn’t work because of some bad CSS? I always thought that you can’t lift the set dimensions in any way.

The image display can be over-ridden by CSS, yes.
