• Gradient is applied upside down on “hovered” items in the Menu Bar.

When the gradient option is enabled for the menu bar, the gradient is applied dark at top, light at bottom. This is opposite of how the gradient is applied to non-hovered items, creating a disjointed, inconsistent appearance.

I’d like to avoid CSSing solutions to theme options if possible (one of the many benefits of this theme is that convenience), so please let everyone know if this will be addressed.

Thank you for this outstanding theme.

Are you asking for this to happen?

Usually specific styling to specific elements will require CSS solutions and I think this may too.

    Hi Andrew,

This styling is being applied via a theme option (a checkbox in the admin area). The hover gradient is obviously not in sync with the usual gradient, so this seems to be a bug in the theme. (Looking at it makes this more obvious).

I’m not using the gradient at the moment, so I can’t spare the time to figure out a CSS solution that would only be for myself anyway (if I ever need it). I thought I would report the bug and maybe it would be fixed by the theme developer and then everyone who uses the theme could benefit.

So, if someone from Weaver II dev could take a look at this and let us know if a fix is planned, that would be great.

    Thank you,

    Rick

Look at my last post in that thread for the CSS to use the reverse gradient image

    Thanks for the link Scrambler.

That will save me a little time searching for the image and rule if I ever need to use the menu gradient.

Should also be useful to anyone else that wants to use the menu gradient.

Hopefully the fix will be integrated into the theme soon.

    Have a good one,

    Rick
