Theme Upgrade Doesn't Work Anymore

  • Hello all,

    I’m simply trying to upgrade the theme on my site. I’ve been able to successfully do upgrades via WP Admin in the past (Appearance>Themes>Add New>Upload Theme) and have chosen “Yes” to Upgrade New Theme? Everything worked fine and I have a backup zip in my Media Files as recent as 5/19/15. Today I’ve tried to upgrade using the recent theme update and I’m consistently receiving the following message:

    Destination folder already exists. /home/……..

    Theme install failed.

    Does anyone know why it isn’t working anymore? Obviously the destination folder exists. I’m trying to override. I thought that’s the point of this process.

    Please help if you can!
