Theme updates for WP 4.0?

    So far the theme is still working pretty good after the last update of WP to 4.0.
    At least by my side i havent noticed yet any particular but that i didnt knew it exist before WP upgrade.

    Just i have to mention a problem with my site. Im using siteoriginpage builder combine with blue theme. Then when i create a text box, the thex background get GREY color instead of WHITE. Like it brigrns a disgression paragraph. Any solution?

    Is there any theme update we will see any soon?

    Here is a page made with Siteorigin page builder (drag and drop plugig)

    And it applies to all pages created this way.

    Also with WP 4.1 updates hasnt changed. What i just noticed with WP 4.1 is that Favicon is not displayed anymore on Google Chrome. But with Firefox still work.

    I believe you are talking about Gray background in Text widget. This color is from the beginning of the theme.

    About next update: Since the theme is not update since several months, there are so many changes in the Theme Review standard. Theme options rendering currently in the theme is not allowed now. We need to either use Settings API and Customizer API. I am trying to update to match with latest WP but lots of rework is needed to release new version. I will to my best to update theme as soon as possible.

    I honestly have no idea why it gets this grey color on pages text boxes. As I mentioned, I believe it is a plugin conflict caused by page builder. Blog posts for example, are not affected by this issues because I’m not using the plugin for articles.

    Anyway thx, for the explanation. If I’ll find any solution I will updated this post

    I’m not coder or expert web designer, but if I can help you somehow, for some test updates I’m available. Let me know.

    – Grey background color solved. Just by adding on Child theme this CSS:

    div.textwidget {
    border: medium none;
    padding: 20px;
    margin-bottom: 20px;
    background-color: #fff;
    color: #666;

    Changed from # EEE to #fff
