These themes are now up to date:
    – Inspiro (from version 1.7.13 to 1.8.1)

That’s the note in the email I got. It auto updated and now all my pages are slightly off.

For example, some buttons/blocks that were all caps are no suddenly not all caps and some of them are CAptilized LIke THis by accident, never apparent, now they are. the same buttons used to be dark now they are white BG.

Some pages are wider than they used to be. Ie this page:

    https://paraglidingontario.com/p1-beginners-course/

Or for example on the intro course here ( https://paraglidingontario.com/paragliding-lessons/ ) the read more link doesn’t work on the text but works on the button behind it.

All of the photos on the right column used to be the same width, and not super wide or high. They were like large thumbnails and it was very aesthetic, now this are big photos, small photos, etc.

Is there something I can do?

    Cheers

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @teganquin

I’m sorry that the new theme update caused issues on your website.

We’ve made some big changes to the way the theme handles different blocks when using the block editor.

In short, we’ve also added the theme.json file to the theme, which will now unlock way more styling options for different blocks.

The problem is that before the new update, the theme’s CSS code controlled too many blocks and layouts, so this didn’t give too much control when you wanted to change things in the block editor.

Now, there are more options, so we recommend you check affected pages and blocks and make adjustments where possible using the “Styling” section of each block.

Here’s an example of how you can make the text uppercase in the Button block: https://d.pr/i/H15L3G

As for the button not being clickable, this is caused by the “Full-width” alignment you set to the Button blocks. Can you set the alignment to “none”? – https://d.pr/i/ouRNzy

As for the photos with the incorrect size, it seems those images were resized in the editor. You can try to resize them back to the needed dimensions, or you can simply leave the Width/Height fields in the sidebar empty, and the image will take the entire space available in the column: https://d.pr/i/w1B5N7

My solution was to rollback the theme to the older version. It’s amazing that an update would break links and mess with formatting so much.
