Theme Update Issue

  • I updated the Customizr theme this morning and something went wrong and my site became inaccessible (500 Internal Server Error). I contacted my host (BlueHost) and they were able to restore my site to the previous version of Customizr, but recommended I contact the developer for support.

    I am using a child theme. if that matters.

    Any advice is appreciated!

  • @sjimmie: It is considered impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread unless you are posting a solution or suggestion. It causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers and prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Please post your own topic.

    I still don’t know what went wrong; tried changing the .htaccess file as suggested but it did not do anything. So for right now, my site still has the previous version of Customizr and I’m not going to update it until I know exactly how to fix it. I can’t keep having my website crash. If anyone has other ideas please let me know!

    I put the previous version of Customizr, but i still have the problem.
