So I just updated to the new version of this theme but it messed up a lot of stuff on my site. I hired a freelancer to do some work on it and now that work is erased!

Like every time there is an update, I create a back up of my site before updating it. I’d like to know how I can upload that back up to my site to take it back the way it was before the update. Is this done in the hosting site or on wordpress??

    Any help would be appreciated!!

  • So the changes you made in your child-theme are not compatible with the latest customizr version?
Is about css or php? Do you see any error? Or it’s just a visual bug?
Anyway, you can easily revert your customizr to one of the previous versions by unzipping the theme and uploading it through ftp.

    Hope this helps.

    Hey d4z,

    Thanks for replying!

It wasn’t any CSS or PHP problems, I did some changes in the theme files and when I updated to the latest version of Czr, all my work was deleted. I managed to fix the problem and now my site is back to how it was before the update. ?? But now I know that I can’t update my theme anymore or else all my work will be erased.

Thanks for your help though. ??
