• i created here a GIF Animation which shows the trouble.
When i’m using the official Twitter Feed (included by Twitter JS Code or Jetpack Plugin doesn’t make a difference) it begins to falter while scrolling down.

    pls see: temp.elchalarm.net/twitterfalter.gif

Problem can be comprehended at dev4.rideSonic.ch
    (WordPress 4.1, Jetpack 3.3, TwentyFifteen 1.0)

Theme is only modified in small parts but the bug exists in the main theme too. Bug discovered in Firefox 34.0.05 and IE 11.0.96, in Google Chrome it works as it should.

Is this a real bug or just something which the browser (FF/IE) can’t handle? maybe forgotten some code for FF and added only for Chrome? Would be nice if it could be fixed.

Thank you very much and have a nice day.

The 2015 theme is designed to fix the position of the sidebar at the bottom, once the scrolling has lead you to that point. Thus, the sidebar stops scrolling and stays on screen. It does this per element in the sidebar.

Now, that twitter widget is a single very tall element (it’s a 843px high iframe). So it fills the screen. When you reach the bottom, it snaps into position. This is intended behavior, because most widgets aren’t that tall.

You could try putting other widgets after it, or reducing its height.
