[Theme: Twenty Thirteen] How to customize Category and Author display in posts?

    I’m trying to customize my posts with Twenty Thirteen to look identical (or as close as possible) in format to the website AgencySpy.com. You’ll see their format is:

    CATEGORY 1, CATEGORY 2, CATEGORY 3
    Post Title
    By (author) on (date) (time)

    Using the code in this post I have successfully modified my theme to make the byline field display as “By (author) on (date) (time) but it removed my categories in the process.

    Is there a way to retain that byline style while also displaying the categories, ideally ABOVE the post title?

    Any help or tips would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
