  • Twenty Eleven works fine in IE9 for me.

    The font display isn’t working well here for IE9. The text is bolder than in FireFox or Chrome.

    I figured this out. The default body font tag uses
    font: 15px “Helvetica Neue”, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    (must have been put together on a Mac)

    When I changed this to font: 15px Arial, sans-serif; the problem is resolved.

    Hi Esmi/dgomez… does this site look ok to you in IE9? Do either of you get the same issues as my client?

    Will look into the fonts issue dgomez.. thanks for that.

    Just managed to install IE9 on my laptop… everything looks fine. I had edited a couple of items relating to the header yesterday… so that might have fixed it (I only checked the page after I’d made the new changes).

    Cheers anyways guys…

    I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme on https://batgap.com, having recently upgraded from Choco Theme. My problem is much more serious than those mentioned above. The site is unreadable. Any suggestions?

    How did you fix your problems?

    A friend of mine in India fixed it for me. I’m not sure what he did, but his rates are very reasonable and he’s very competent. If you’d like his contact info, email me at [email address removed].

    Thanks for info
