• Hey!

Working away in my first Twenty Eleven themed site.

Have a question I am not finding in the forum:

This site will be a corporate site. It will need a fairly robust footer:
1 – Two columns of menu items
    2 – contact info
    3 – privacy info
    4 – logo

Right now – all I have is “proudly Powered By WordPress.”

Is building a more robust footer possible?
I can’t find any posts that really address it – and I’ve searched under “footer” and “site generator”.

Any guidelines – or a site that someone may know about that talks about it would be a huge help.

    Many thanks!

  • have you tried to see if using the footer widgets in Twenty Eleven can do what you want?

generally, nearly anything could be programmed into the footer of Twenty Eleven …

Opps… didn’t know anything about them! I will see what I can find!

How embarrassing. They are sitting right there. No wonder I’m the only person that asks! :^D

I do have a legitimate question regarding the menus I need to put in there.

At some point I need to figure out how to do SEO friendly URL’s in WordPress.

If I create a menu using the wordpress default links – will the links break when I convert to SEF Url’s?

(I come from a Joomla background and haven’t even begun looking at SEO items yet.)
