    Hi,
    I was translating a clients website with the WPML plugin. The strange thing is, that the theme is only in German, but not translated into English, when I switch the languge.

    Here some details:
    * Language of WordPress installation: German
    * Default Language set: German
    * theme used: aquitaine
    * theme translation files: themes/aquitaine/languages/de_DE.mo and en_US.mo, default.mo (contains English).

    Maybe, someone does already see the problem here. If not, I would appreciate any advise on how I can discover where the language switching in WordPress is taking place to have a look there.

    Thanks

    solved.
    Just needed to disable an option called something like “use load_theme_textdomain” in WPML backend. Don’t know what it does, but now it works.
