Theme transfer

  • Hi everyone – i am a bit stuck on how to resolve this:

    • my old website was built on the oceanwp theme
    • my new website is on botiga (free)
    • but i use elementor for both
    • it seems some of my old design elements specifically certain images are attached to the ocean theme
    • is there a way to take this image design and bring it into elementor? so its easier to edit and always is mobile responsive? im really stuck. Please help! Thanks!

    Firstly, thanks for using our theme!

    If your old website was built with Elementor, then the transition to Botiga will be a bit more smoothly probably. Why I said “a bit more”? Because let’s say you was using some Oceanwp elementor specific widget in your pages, then this widget won’t be imported to your new Botiga website. Basically, everything that’s specific to Oceanwp won’t be imported, like specific Elementor widgets. Also, the WooCommerce pages like shop catalog, single products, etc.. will have a different layout too.

    Said that, I highly recommend for you making the transition from old website to the new with Botiga in a staging website first. So you can fix everything in the staging, and once everything is ready, you can move it to the live website.
