Slideshow and number of posts

    I will probably choose the Sydney theme for my food blog.

    However, there are only two problems that I want to solve before:

    1. In my old theme I have configured an extensive slideshow with 42 photos with the plugin MetaSlider. How do I add this slideshow to the header in Sydney?

    2. How do I increase the number of blog posts published on the home page so that more of them are published?
