I installed the theme switcher, and added a handful of themes.

In my default theme (my selected theme, not the default theme,) everything’s great. comments look nice. all is well.

when you choose another theme, the comments and permalinks page goes all sam sham on me. no images, all aligned left, no css.

    wanna see?
    go here: https://fernando.dubtribe.com/

    check a permalink

Now choose another theme, and check them again…

All these themes are using essentially the same files. only the footer text, css, and images are changed.

    Yiikes!

what in the world have i done wrong?

    F.

No idea, but I had similar issue before, so I just stuck it in a place where it wouldn’t do any harm.

i’d like to do that too.

duno I just moced hte bugger around until it stopped breaking stuff. It probably is bad code rather than the plugin itself, but what do I care. I removed it completely in the end because it’s something I never want to use. On the other hand, I had to implement it for Alex’s contest, and in the new theme it worked first time without actually testing it before submitting.

right, trouble is the source code for the themes is Kubrick 1.2.5 and it’s really elabourate.

my guess is that you’re correct, it’s some code causing hassle in the index.php’s.

my functional version is 1.2.3, the borked ones are all 1.2.5.

    bammer!

has no one else had this problem?
