    Hi,

I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this question, but I’m not sure where else to put it. I’d like to use the Twenty-Twenty theme (I like its design and I prefer not to use the full-site editing that comes with the Twenty-Twenty-Two and Twenty-Twenty-Three themes), but I was wondering how long the developers support older WordPress default themes? While it appears the Twenty-Twenty theme is still supported, I just wanted to make sure that these default themes don’t become “outdated” when a new default theme is released each year.?

For instance, is there a point in time when updates (i.e. security, etc.) will stop for the Twenty-Twenty theme and require its users to switch to the latest WordPress default theme?

    Thanks so much!

Hey there @kristenfisher427 – while there are no guarantees, WordPress does pride itself on backwards compatibility, and the devs are still releasing updated versions of Twenty Ten – a 13+ year-old theme. All that to say, I don’t personally think you need to be too concerned about Twenty Twenty. ??
