[Theme: Superstore] Changing basic colours in custom colour scheme

    Can anyone help me with an edit for the following?
    I am using WooThemes Superstore Theme, but my website is not live yet.

    WooThemes support say they can’t help me as “This is a pretty broad question and deals more with coding / customisation than with support directly”

    Basically, I know what I want to edit, but I am just not sure what file I should edit and how to do it. I know very very little about code and have done some minor custom css changes, so excuse my ignorance in my below explanation.

    I am using one of the Theme Stylesheet colour scheme (specifically violet.css).
    Overall I am happy with the colour scheme, but I just want to change the background colours of the Primary Nav Bar, the Footer Contact Bar and the Footer.

    Using the Inspect element/chrome developer tool and I can locate the parts that I want to change on the webpage – and I can do these simple edits in the web browser, but once I click out the changes are obviously not saved. I can’t work out in Inspect Element how to know where these aspects are in the WP backend so I can edit them there and make the changes permanent.

    Can anyone help me?
