Theme Submission

  • I am currently trying to submit a WP theme, but I’m unsure if it has been uploaded correctly to the theme reviewers repository. It says it passes but how will I know it has been accepted for review? Do I get a ticket number after The them .zip file is uploaded? The feedback mechanism is confusing

  • When the theme passed the auto-checks, you will have been given a Theme Trac url. You’ll also get a copy via email.

    Thanks for that.

    Currently I am getting this message but it is not a child theme. It is a fresh theme from scratch.

    “There is no theme called ‘MagicDust’ in the directory. For child themes, you must use a parent theme that already exists in the directory.”

    Is there any reference to Template in the comment block at the top of style.css?
